About 9 miles from our base
Christchurch is just along the A337 from our base at Lea Green Farm – about 9 miles – so we can survey quickly and we're close by for aftercare in Christchurch, Highcliffe, Mudeford and Burton.
We install air source and ground source heat pumps, solar PV, battery storage and EV chargers, and look after the systems we fit.
Christchurch sits where the Avon and the Stour meet the harbour, and parts of the town are at risk of flooding. In these areas we mount outdoor units and electrical equipment on raised bases or brackets and keep controls above likely flood levels.
You can check your property's flood risk on the Environment Agency's flood map before your survey, and we'll take it into account in the design.
Christchurch has been part of BCP Council since April 2019. Most houses can have an air source heat pump and roof-mounted solar panels under permitted development.
The historic town centre is in the Christchurch Central Conservation Area. In a conservation area, a heat pump can't go on a wall or roof that faces a road, and solar panels can't go on a wall, balcony or roof enclosure that faces a road.
Read more in our guides to planning permission for heat pumps and solar and the Boiler Upgrade Scheme.
