• Enquiries: your name, email address, phone number (optional) and message when you use our contact or quote forms, email or call us.
• Customers: your address, property and energy-use details, survey information, photos of the installation, and payment and contract records.
• Website use: if you accept cookies, information about how you use the site (pages viewed, device and approximate location) via Google Analytics and Google Ads.
• Technical data: your IP address and browser details, which our hosting provider logs to keep the site secure and working.

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote – legitimate interests and taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
• To survey, design, install, commission and service your system, and to register it with MCS and the relevant schemes – performance of a contract.
• To apply for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme on your behalf, notify your electricity network operator where required, and keep tax and accounting records – legal obligation and contract.
• To understand how our website is used and measure our advertising – consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

We only share what is needed, with:

• Our website and email service providers: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (stores contact form submissions) and Resend (delivers form notifications to our inbox).
• Google (Analytics, Ads and Maps) – only if you accept cookies or choose to show the map.
• When you become a customer: MCS and its certification bodies, Ofgem (Boiler Upgrade Scheme), the Renewable Energy Consumer Code, warranty and insurance-backed guarantee providers, your electricity network operator and equipment manufacturers, as needed to deliver and register your installation.
• Our professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.

• Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 2 years, then deleted.
• Customer and installation records: for 6 years after our contract ends, or longer where needed for warranties, guarantees and scheme requirements.
• Analytics data: up to 14 months in Google Analytics.

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time. Contact us using the details above and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
